Fixing Amilo A1650, Mobile Sempron overheating
Linking a couple of posts I made on encountering the subject:
CPU overheats during high usage “throttling not supported”
tldr:
- they’re cheap for a reason
- check thermal paste situation, it could be in terrible shape
- switch the 62W TDP Mobile Sempron out for a 25W TDP Mobile Turion
